Finding Freedom in and from the Pits

From time to time, all Christians find themselves in some set of circumstances, that is unpleasant, and in which they cannot find freedom on their own.  This message deals with what we should do, while we are in the pit, and what God will do for us and others because of our pits.

It is not an enjoyable thing to think about, but the truth is, all Christians have something in them that is very wicked. This thing rises up, and sometimes Christians give into it, and allow it to control them. There is a frequent battle going on in the Christian.  Paul deals with this reality in Romans 7:14-25, and this message deals with that passage.

The Law and Sin

Preached from Romans 7:6-13. Paul shows the relationship between law and sin, as well as showing that the purpose of the law is to prepare the heart to receive the gospel by revealing the exceeding sinfulness of sin.
